Shakespeare's Country

We start at Shakespeare's birthplace followed by coffee and a Danish pastry. We then move through Stratford and pass Harvard House and onto Nash's House and the grounds of Shakespeare's last home New Place. From there we travel to Halls Croft and Holy Trinity Church where Shakespeare is buried. This is followed by a short drive through some of the most beautiful villages in the area and lunch in a 16th Century Public house with a chance to sample local hospitality.

The afternoon is started by a stroll down to the church where Shakespeare's Mother and Father were married. Mid afternoon is spent visiting Anne Hathaway's Cottage and Mary Arden's House.

The day finishes with a visit to Charlecote Park. Here you will be able to walk around the house and grounds at your leisure, enjoy a traditional English tea amongst the peacocks and challenge your guide to a game of croquet on the lawns.
